You are right, such practising is not for those who only start learning English, but most of us have some knowledges in English and just don´t want to forget it duting the maternity vacation.
Very good advice, which I have expressed in Russian in different words couple of pages before. And girls were so unkind and catty about it.

you are welcome! To learn writing by writing is a very good way to success. At least I think it is a good way to refresh one´s English skills... Personally I find it hard to put my thoughts into right words but step by step I remember some patterns I thought i have forgotten...
It is easy to find someone´s mistakes than your own. So, I think this topic is good, much better than stupidly waist your time reading some silly posts here and discussing fully things.
